Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a fast-acting sedation method that’s administered in-office. It’s excellent for patients who are dealing with mild or moderate dental anxiety or require a more extensive procedure. Our team simply places a nose mask onto the face for you to breathe in a colorless, odorless mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen. The sedation quickly takes effect and causes a relaxing and euphoric wave to wash across the body, helping to make sitting still and comfortably much easier. Once the nose mask is removed, it only takes a few minutes for the complete effects of nitrous oxide to wear off.
IV Sedation

IV sedation is the strongest method of dental sedation that we offer in-office. This is typically used in situations where patients have severe dental phobia or during surgical procedures, such as wisdom tooth extractions and dental implant placement. Our team will administer the sedation medication directly into the bloodstream for near-immediate effects, and we can alter the medication throughout your procedure to ensure you remain comfortable and safe.
